Continuing release calendar changes have left much of 2020 with notably less content on offer for cinemas. WONDER WOMAN 1984 and DEATH ON THE NILE have both moved to December. BLACK WIDOW and NO TIME TO DIE, which had been due to begin their international roll-outs in October and November, have been delayed to May and April 2021, respectively. Other titles have also moved. This is a difficult time for the exhibition industry. Cineworld Group has elected to close circuits in the UK and US. Other exhibitors are scaling back.

Considering these changes Gower Street has decided to extend the existing free trial of its Road To Recovery reports through to the end of October.

Gower Street’s free trial to our Road To Recovery reports will come to an end on October 31. But don’t worry because we have a great offer for our subscribers so you can continue to track progress to recovery in your market and around the world.

Today we are announcing a limited-time, heavy discount, offer that will enable you to receive our weekly reports throughout the three months of November 2020-March 2021 at a whopping 90% discount.

Throughout October only, you can sign up to receive either of our Domestic or International reports for just $150 per month for the November-March period. That means that you can track everything that is happening with end-of-year releases and throughout Q1 of the new year via weekly updates for substantially less than the price of buying two one-off reports!

But be quick! The 90% discount offer is only available until October 31, after which time subscription sign-up will revert to full-price.

Our weekly International Road To Recovery report features market information on 29 international markets. Each market-view page (see Germany sample below) features our custom-built Growth Trackers, which show progress towards each stage of our 5-stage Blueprint To Recovery. They also include up-to-date graphics tracking local market box office totals compared to previous years (based on Comscore data); the number of cinemas reporting box office to Comscore; and the progress of the COVID-19 virus (based on data from John Hopkins University); as well as market-specific commentary.

The international report also includes our “State of the Global Theatrical Industry” update, featuring our Global Box Office Tracker; global and regional exhibitor Growth Trackers; and a global box office overview for 44 Comscore-tracked markets, comparing current box office levels to an average of the past three years, including regional summaries.

Our weekly Domestic Road To Recovery report features a full-market overview as well as state and province-level information on all 50 US states, Washington DC and 12 Canadian provinces. Each state/province-view page includes equivalent graphics to that of the international report, and localized commentary. The report also includes our “State of the Domestic Theatrical Industry” update, featuring a US-state box office overview, comparing current box office levels to an average of the past three years, including regional summaries.

Should you prefer to subscribe to just a single market report these will be offered throughout the same period for $75 per month if you sign-up by October 31. These feature the “State of the Global Theatrical Industry” update and the market-view page for your chosen market only.

This special offer covers weekly reports available between November 2020 and March 2021, commencing November 3 and ending March 30. There is no commitment to continue beyond March 2021 and subscribers can cancel at any time during the three-month period. However, cancellation will mean subscribers will be unable to recommence at the 90% discount price.
