The article titled “The People-Powered Science of a Box-Office Smash Hit” described Gower Street’s algorithms and human experts as Hollywood’s “secret weapon” in ensuring “movies’ blockbusting budgets can be recouped.”
Written by Karen Krizanovich, the piece features an interview with Gower Street CEO Dimitrios Mitsinikos and highlights our flagship FORECAST service.
Dimitrios discussed the current challenges facing the industry as a result of what Krizanovich calls “The most volatile period in the history of the movie industry” following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. “It requires some out-of-the-box thinking,” said Dimitrios. “But innovation is in our fabric.”
